State regulators have approved a Buffalo health care network to establish the first accountable care organization in New York State to serve Medicaid and commercial insurance populations. Greater Buffalo United Accountable Care Organization, which is expected to begin operations next month, will include approximately 320 primary care physicians and specialists and will serve roughly 65,000 patients.
