Jesús M. Amadeo (Vice Chair and Treasurer)
Jesús M. Amadeo is senior vice president for Core Services and Chief Financial and Administrative Officer at MDRC (formerly Manpower Demonstration Research Corporation) in New York City. He leads the financial, budgeting, investment, administrative, systems and technology, and human resource functions of the corporation. Prior to joining MDRC, Amadeo was Assistant Secretary General/Chief Operations Officer for the International Planned Parenthood Federation in London, where he was responsible for the day-to-day operations. He managed five department directors and consultants and led interdisciplinary teams in strategic planning and management interventions. He also developed commercial ventures with affiliates and Fortune 500 companies in segmented and competitive markets; created and supervised internal audit function to monitor value for money in use of resources; and negotiated agreements with governments in developing and developed countries. Amadeo also worked as Deputy Regional Director in the Migration Division of the Government of Puerto Rico’s Department of Labor.
Mr. Amadeo earned a B.A. from Columbia College, Columbia University, and an M.P.A. from the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University.
