Ruth C. Browne, MPP, MPH, ScD (Secretary)
Ruth C. Browne, MPP, MPH, ScD, is the chief executive officer of the Arthur Ashe Institute for Urban Health. She received her doctorate in health policy and management from the School of Public Health at Harvard University, two master’s degrees — in public health and public policy — from the University of Michigan, and an undergraduate degree from Princeton University. She is an assistant clinical professor in the College of Health-Related Professions and an assistant professor in the Department of Preventive Medicine at SUNY Downstate. Dr. Browne has extensive experience in the development and analysis of community-based and culturally-sensitive health care.
