Stacey Chazin, communications officer for the Center for Health Care Strategies (CHCS), has more than 10 years of experience in communications for organizations in the health care industry. At CHCS, she is responsible for developing and implementing communications strategies to promote best practices in Medicaid management care to key stakeholders and policymakers. Her work includes identifying and disseminating key program messaging; writing issue briefs, case studies, project descriptions and media materials; editing program materials; and sharing in management of CHCS' national health policy webinar series.
Ms. Chazin's previous communications positions were with Vox Medica Healthcare Public Relations and The Tierney Group, for which she developed, managed and implemented public relations strategies for clients involved in managed care, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and health care IT.
Ms. Chazin holds a master's degree in public health from Temple University, and bachelor's degrees in communication and economics/marketing from the University of Pennsylvania. She is a certified health education specialist (CHES).
