Building Medicaid Leadership and Capacity
Medicaid serves one in six Americans, including nearly one third of all children, a large proportion of people who are racially and ethnically diverse, and millions with chronic illnesses and disabilities and complex health care needs. CHCS is working to ensure that Medicaid leaders have the skills, expertise, and tools necessary not only to effectively manage and pursue innovation within state programs, but also to achieve Medicaid’s potential as a national model for high-quality, cost-effective care and coverage expansions. Medicaid Leadership Institute
This leadership development program provides a unique opportunity for current Medicaid directors to enhance the skills they need to transform their state Medicaid programs into national models for high quality, cost effective care.
Medicaid Boot Camp
This intensive Boot Camp, part of the National Association of Medicaid Directors annual spring meeting, is designed to provide critical tools and information to help new Medicaid directors and emerging leaders succeed.
