In this Best Clinical and Administrative Practices (BCAP) workgroup, clinical directors and other decision makers from managed care organizations developed innovative programs to identify adolescents in need of behavioral health services, establish methods to classify the behavioral health needs of the target population, conduct outreach activities to adolescents and their families, and design coordinated programs that serve children and youth with serious disorders who are involved in other public systems (e.g., child welfare, juvenile justice).
