The Rutgers Center for State Health Policy released a new report today that shares stakeholder views on the early implementation of the New Jersey Medicaid Accountable Care Organization (ACO) demonstration project. The report focuses on issues and challenges that surfaced in the four years between the legislative authorization and the certification of three ACOs. It also seeks to distill lessons for stakeholders interested in building Medicaid ACOs, and to inform New Jersey policymakers who may wish to consider program revisions during or following the demonstration.
