Alex Criscione is a communications associate at the Center for Health Care Strategies (CHCS). In this role, Alex supports communications across CHCS’ portfolio of projects, including assisting with the production and dissemination of publications, coordinating social media, and managing website content, among other responsibilities.

Prior to joining CHCS, Alex was an opinion columnist for The Daily Targum, Rutgers University’s student-managed news outlet, where he covered technology, including its impact on mental health. He was also a social media manager and writer for The Pop Break, a New Brunswick-based digital culture and entertainment magazine.

Alex is currently completing his master’s degree in health communications at Rutgers University, where he previously earned his bachelor’s degree in journalism and media studies.

When Alex isn’t working, he is likely spending time watching the latest movies. He is also passionate about weightlifting, reading, and writing. A guilty pleasure of his is watching, or listening to, crime documentaries.
