Amy Hoffmaster, MSPH, is a senior program officer at the Center for Health Care Strategies (CHCS). In this role, she supports initiatives related to integrating care for individuals dually eligible for Medicare and Medicaid and reforming state long-term services and supports systems. She also works on projects related to population health, focusing on cross-sector collaboration.
Prior to joining CHCS, Ms. Hoffmaster worked at Deloitte Consulting where she supported government and healthcare stakeholders in a service delivery model aimed at reducing avoidable hospitalizations and improving the quality of care in skilled nursing facilities. She also served as a senior operations specialist for the Deloitte Center for Health Solutions, a health services research group. In addition, Ms. Hoffmaster interned at the North Carolina Office of Rural Health as part of the Analytics and Innovation team, analyzing performance data and creating data visualizations.
Ms. Hoffmaster holds a master’s of science degree in public health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She also received her bachelor’s degree in economics from the College of William and Mary.
