Isabel Clemente, MSW, is a Program Associate at the Center for Health Care Strategies (CHCS) on the child health quality team. In this role, she provides technical assistance and project management skills for child health projects, including the Advancing Child Welfare and Medicaid Alignment initiative.
Prior to joining CHCS, Isabel interned at the Child Welfare and Well-Being Research Unit at Rutgers University analyzing federal child welfare policies and conducting qualitative research. She has also interned at Monmouth Medical Center in the Outpatient Oncology Unit providing case management and supportive counseling to patients. In previous roles, She worked at Rutgers Institute for Families on a variety of child welfare projects providing administrative and technical support on NJ Department of Children and Families-funded projects.
Isabel holds a master’s in social work from Rutgers University-New Brunswick with a specialization in management and policy and a certification in promoting child and adolescent well-being.
While not at work, she enjoys exercising, reading, and going to the beach.
