Diabetes is a leading cause of death in the United States. People living with diabetes face serious disease-related complications, particularly people of color who are more likely to be diagnosed with diabetes than white individuals. By increasing access to continuous glucose monitors (CGM) through Medicaid, states can improve diabetes care and reduce health inequities for high-risk populations.
This resource center can help states design and implement strategies that expand CGM access in Medicaid to improve health and well-being for Medicaid members with diabetes.
