Child health care is so much more than medical care. Experts in the pediatric field are increasingly expanding their preventive care focus and acknowledging the connections between children, families, communities, and the systems they interact with regularly. The child health care field also calls for advancing greater equity and dignity in care delivery, particularly for those most impacted by structural racism.
