Nearly 50 percent of Medicaid spending is on approximately five percent of beneficiaries — many with complex physical, behavioral, and social service needs. CHCS works with the federal government, state agencies, health plans, providers, and consumer organizations to ensure that individuals with complex needs have access to integrated physical, behavioral health, social, and community-based services and supports. Our work engages leading thinkers from across the country to generate innovative solutions to improve care and control spending for complex need populations.
