Ashley Jasko, MSW, LSW, is a program officer at the Center for Health Care Strategies (CHCS). In this role, she supports initiatives focused on improving care for people with complex health and social needs, with a particular focus on those with behavioral health needs.

Prior to joining CHCS, Ashley worked as a contact tracing supervisor where she managed a team of contact tracers in Somerset County, New Jersey, as they called individuals diagnosed with COVID-19 and their close contacts to reduce the spread of the virus. While earning her master’s in social work, Ashley interned with a primary care provider for older adults through Atlantic Health System and a high school counseling office in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. Ashley also worked as a case manager at Alternatives, Inc. where she helped clients with serious mental illness navigate their health care and social service needs.

Ashley holds a master’s degree in social work with a certification in aging and health, and a bachelor’s degree in psychology, both from Rutgers University–New Brunswick.

In her spare time, Ashley enjoys practicing yoga, reading a good book, cooking, and getting outside for daily walks.
