Strong partnerships between Medicaid and public health agencies can drive meaningful improvements in both health care delivery and evidence-based prevention strategies. By sharing data, resources, and expertise, these agencies can better address population health challenges, from chronic disease management to maternal health. Together, they can create a more coordinated health care system that strengthens policies, improves services, and advances population health outcomes.
This webinar, made possible by The Pew Charitable Trusts, will highlight how Medicaid and public health leaders in Colorado, Idaho, and New Hampshire are leveraging cross-agency partnerships to improve outcomes in chronic disease, substance use disorder, and maternal health, respectively. The discussion will draw on findings from a forthcoming Pew State Health Solutions report, Partnerships Are Key to Improving Population Health, based on interviews conducted by the Center for Health Care Strategies (CHCS) with Medicaid and public health leaders across the country.
Medicaid and public health agency staff and other interested stakeholders are invited to join this 75-minute event.
