The BCAP Improving Preventive Care Services for Children workgroup convened eight health plans to improve preventive services for children covered under Medicaid and SCHIP. Medical directors and quality improvement staff collaborated to identify and pilot practical solutions for integrating preventive care into all patient/provider interactions. The lessons learned in the Improving Preventive Care Services for Children workgroup are documented in a toolkit that provides a practical approach to improving pediatric preventive care services.
