This training video is designed to help Medicaid and partner agency staff learn about the different types of Medicare Advantage supplemental benefits and their relevance to Medicare Advantage enrollees, health plans, and state officials. The training video also highlights some of the factors affecting Medicare Advantage plan benefit design, as well as policy and program design opportunities available to states.
Through this training, viewers will become more familiar with:

- The relevance of these benefits to state officials, dually eligible individuals, and health plans;
- How these benefits are designed and funded, including factors that may influence what plans offer; and
- Opportunities for states to better understand and potentially influence supplemental benefit design.
